ourBridge for Kids
We developed and delivered monthly financial literacy workshops for students in grades K-5 for ourBridge for Kids, a nonprofit serving immigrant and refugee youth in Charlotte, NC. Taught foundational concepts including saving, budgeting, money management, and needs vs. wants through interactive lessons and hands-on activities.
We partnered with Raise a Child Carolinas to deliver weekly financial literacy sessions as part of a five-week summer camp for low-income students in grades K–3. We designed and led interactive lessons, games, and activities that taught foundational concepts such as money recognition, saving, spending, budgeting, and needs vs. wants in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.
